The Empire Continues to Need your Help.....
This is a way to help the Empire
New blood is needed to bring vigour and ideas to the running of Halstead's community theatre. The Empire Theatre Trust,
an independent body, is appealing  for new members to help its fundraising efforts.
Its committee has been running for 26 years, a spokesman for the trust said "As with all committees, ideas seem to run
out of steam and a new injection of good helpers could kick start the whole committee with enthusiasm".
People interested in becoming a member of the Trust are invited to one of the monthly meetings, held on the first Thursday
of each month at 8.00pm at the Theatre. Members are needed, for instance, to help once a fortnight with the Bingo
evenings and afternoons plus to contribute ideas for fundraising and volunteer to help when required at live shows,
your help is needed to keep the theatre entertaining local people for many years to come.
