A Braintree TV and Empire Theatre - Band Wars Competition
The Final will be on Saturday 23rd September 2017 - 6.30pm for 7.00pm - Tickets £5.00

Following on from the success of last year, Braintree TV are pleased to announce that in conjunction with the Empire Theatre, Halstead, we will be holding another Band Wars competition this year. This is a local music talent showcase for bands and solo artists.

Anyone entering the competition will be required to go through a preliminary 'heat' stage where the best 7 performances (as decided jointly by us and our viewers through emailed votes) will progress to a final at the Empire Theatre on the 23rd of September where they will be judged by a panel of local celebrities. The winners will receive a trophy and get the chance to spend a day in a recording studio.

As viewers will be judging the heat stages, participants must either supply us with a good quality video of the act playing their entry or arrange a venue where Braintree TV can film it with 2 cameras on tripods. Either way, anyone wishing to participate must give permission for all their performances for the competition to be broadcast on Braintree TV.
To enter the competition you must accept the terms and conditions (which are shown below), then complete the online application form, or download a paper version. Once completed, the application should be scanned and returned to This email address is being protected from spambots.
