The Empire Continues to Need your Help.....
This is a way to help the Empire, new blood is always needed to bring vigour and ideas to the running of Halstead's community theatre.
The Empire Theatre Trust, an independent voluntary body, is appealing for new volunteers to help its fundraising efforts.
Its committee has been running for 27 years, a spokesman for the trust said "As with all committees, ideas seem to run ut of steam and a new injection of good helpers could kick start the whole committee with enthusiasm".
People interested in helping the theatre are invited to come to one of our monthly meetings, held on the first Thursday f each month at 8.00pm at the Theatre. Volunteers are needed, for instance, to help once a fortnight with the Bingo venings plus to contribute ideas for fundraising and to help when required at live shows, our help is needed to keep the theatre entertaining local people for many years to come.
