OUR REGULAR MONTHLY FILM PRESENTATIONS ARE AIMED AT ALL PEOPLE LIVING WITH DEMENTIA, CARERS AND ANYONE WHO MAY FEEL LONELY OR VULNERABLE WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY.
The Empire Theatre welcome the support of our sponsors for this new series of 2024 events, and hope that the community will come along and give this a try.
We have a large, air conditioned auditorium, with ample capacity for large groups as well as couples and their carers, the entry and film are FREE, as well as the tea, coffee, biscuits and cake. Spaces for wheelchairs are limited to four, so if you do wish to attend and need a wheelchair space, please call the box office to arrange a booking for these spaces. If you are coming in a large group, please also call 07778 025490 to inform us of your requirements.
Our presentations are designed to give you the best possible experience we can to make the visit a happy and enjoyable one, we have houselights on low and sound at a comfortable level, plus we have staff on hand to help and assist where necessary and appropriate.
The Dementia Cinema has been supported by Care UK and the Empire Theatre and with the help of other Sponsors who have provided some funding, with further support from The East of England CoOp, Joshua Nunn Lodge, Landsec, Greenfields, Eastlight, Halstead Town Councillors and The Dementia Action Alliance.
